Had my hair highlighted and cut. Though I liked the cut, the color was disappointing. It wasn't the color I asked for and didn't have very many highlights. I let her know how fragile my hair is to coloring, but she still left it in longer than it should have...sure enough, I had hair breakage from it. Price was ridiculous and not worth what I got. Next time I'll go to a high-end salon that delivers.

Went in for a trim with Shaylee, only wanted to get what was needed maybe 4 inches at most, showed pictures of what I was looking for, and she cut nearly 12 inches. A few uneven pieces in the front as well.

The owner is so nice and I love the vibe there. Downtown is the best so it's fun to visit the location and also get sushi when I leave. They have top of the line products and amazing stylists.

I was in Sioux Falls from out of state and decided i needed to get my hair done. I travel a lot for my job so it isn't always convenient to get everything done at home. I called the salon and they were able to fit me and my coworker in for a root touch up and a full color. The stylists worked together to make sure we could get everything we needed to get done and they were very friendly. I had Kendra do my root touch up and she matched my original color perfectly! I'm extremely impressed by my entire experience at this salon. I highly recommend it.

So happy I found this place! I had a hair emergency on a Friday morning (meaning I had tried to be my own hair stylist and color my own hair) and it turned into such a disaster that I couldn't leave the house. I called around to two other places who couldn't get me in, and thank GOD Chelsea answered the phone! She said she could squeeze me in between her afternoon appointment and reassured me she could take care of my emergency.

The place itself is adorable, and when I arrived they asked if I wanted anything to drink or some coffee, which I gladly accepted! The whole process took about three hours (color correction, highlights, cut and style) but everything turned out amazing! Chelsea was very calm the entire time, and I trusted her throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend!

Visited Atoley Salon ( Coming from Las Vegas, Nevada ) on a trip to South Dakota for the first time for a wedding. What an amazing experience! These women know what they are doing! I got a style and cut as well as my makeup done, and I couldn't be more impressed and pleased!! My stylist kept me informed of what she was doing every step of the way! I have a VERY hard time trusting people with my hair after many bad experiences, but not even 10 minutes into the cut I was requesting a shorter do!! If you live in South Dakota or ever find yourself out there.. Atoley Salon is hands down the place to go treat yourself! The location is wonderful, the stylists are fantastic, and the atmosphere of the shop itself is so calming and beautiful!! I guarantee you will leave stress free and feeling like a million bucks! A definite highlight of my trip!

Shaylee does incredible color work! You can tell she truly cares about working with you to achieve the results you want. She is professional, friendly, educated on the latest hair trends, and very talented. I will definitely be back.

I go to Atoley for anything and everything. I get massages there (Was so sad when Kylie left :( but happy with the new gal!), I get my brazilians there, which Chelsea got done in only 20 minutes, and did a phenomenal job! I get my manis, my pedis, my cuts and colors. CJ and Chelsea do an amazing job with my hair. For my anniversary I got a manipedi, make-up, and hairwash/style, all for less than $200, including tips. This place is amazing, and never sends you out unhappy. If you're not happy with something they've done, just call or tell them. They won't be offended, they genuinely want you to be happy.

Got my hair highlighted here about a month ago. Cute little downtown salon, boutique feel. The stylist caused quite a bit of breakage to the hair around my face and in my part, which bummed me out, but the color is nice.

I loved my stylist, my hair, and the salon. Reason for the 3 stars? I was quoted one price, a reasonable $90 something for hair color only... my bill turned out to be $185... not including the tip. Sorry... but double the price quoted is ridiculous. My hair is not long so they didn't need double batches. I probably unfortunately won't be coming here again. I just can't afford it.
