Justin and Mitch hosted architecture students from SDSU DoArch at the new City of Madison Administration Building! During the construction tour, students gained valuable insights into the value of a good relationship between the architect, owner, and contractor and the importance of remaining nimble when it comes to any design issues that may arise during construction. If you need us, we'll be stuffing our tummies full of Jersey Mike's Famous Philly because today is the nationwide event - Day of Giving - when local Jersey Mike's owners and operators donate their resources, and every single dollar that comes in, to local charities. RSA had the privilege of designing the first (2) locations for Jersey Mike's in Sioux Falls, SD - one at 57th & Louise, and the other at Dawley Farms. RSA conducted planning sessions, completed a code review and site analysis, developed floor plans and other construction documents, and utilized the franchise design standards to complete interior finishes and details. Jersey Mike’s restaurant interiors are reminiscent of an oceanside boardwalk in New Jersey, including surfboards, retro wall decor, galvanized light fixtures, slat wood walls and an airy color palette.
