With high altitude balloons aloft somewhere in the world every single day from December 12, 2022 to April 25, 2024, Aerostar demonstrated persistent operations in the stratosphere and covered more than 265,936 nautical miles. We discussed the importance of investing in yourself, creating a plan, and sticking to it. I then had the honor of sharing Aerostar’s commitment to investing in team member development. Aerostar hosted the South Dakota Nationwide Eclipse Ballooning Project Team's ground station at our manufacturing facility in Sulphur Springs, TX on Monday April 8th, 2024. It was a spectacular day for an eclipse!

Dakota State University students visited Aerostar Headquarters in Sioux Falls Wednesday to learn how Aerostar is using advanced technology for aerospace and defense missions. Experts from stratospheric and radar solutions shared how AI enables navigation, reduces clutter, and identifies threats. #DSU

In March, HAPS Alliance members companies, including Aerostar (Aerostar International LLC), AeroVironment, and Sceye, participated in the Stratospheric Operations and Research Symposium (SOaRS) conference put on by the University of North Dakota. The conference serves as a platform for fostering cooperation and driving progress in stratospheric operations and included key stakeholders like NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the United States Department of Defense.
